Build We design radio-frequency coil arrays for time efficient sodium, phosphorus, and proton MRI. We also build tissue-representative phantoms, MR-compatible exercise devices, and interface electronics. Code We develop specialized pulse sequences and image reconstruction algorithms for novel tissue characterization methods, metabolic measurements, anatomical imaging, and MRI safety. Research Our tools allow us to learn about fundamental biological functions such as mitochondrial energy metabolism and cellular viability, which provide important insight on a variety of pathologies. projects PHOSPHORUS MRI SODIUM MRI PROTON MRI TOOLS & TECHNIQUES
